I’m a wife, mom of two incredible sons, camping enthusiast, memory keeper, and the storyteller behind Mom Tried & Tested.

I believe life’s greatest treasures aren’t found in expensive vacations or perfect plans—they’re found in ordinary moments shared with the people we love. Whether it’s pitching a tent for the first time, exploring a new hiking trail, taking a spontaneous road trip, or gathering around a campfire, those simple adventures often become the memories that last a lifetime.

Our family’s camping journey began in 2010 with a tiny four-person tent, very little experience, and plenty of rookie mistakes. What started as one unforgettable weekend grew into more than a decade of camping adventures, family traditions, and stories that I’m now preserving here for my family—and hopefully inspiring yours.

Through Mom Tried & Tested, I share honest camping experiences, family travel, RV adventures, practical tips, product recommendations we’ve personally used, and the stories behind the photos that fill our family albums.

When I’m not planning our next getaway, you’ll usually find me enjoying time with my family, exploring new places, organizing projects, or dreaming up our next adventure.

My hope is simple: to encourage families to spend more time together, create traditions, and make memories that will be cherished for generations.
